Beautify and protect your driveway.
Granville DriveSeal LLC is owned and operated by Granville local Chip White. Our application process is performed by hand from 5 gallon containers; no large unsightly equipment or coal tar based sealants. We're priced efficiently, and provide quotes based on the size and condition of your driveway. We're locally licensed and insured.
A clean surface is essential for sealant to bond to the asphalt. We remove any vegetation, mud, and debris. The driveway is then pressure washed to finish the cleaning process.
Crack Repair can begin after the surface has been prepared. Most repairs dry within 24 hours, but may vary depending on the size of the crack or hole. Keep in mind that once cracks develop, they will always be somewhat visible, but it's critical to stop water from penetrating and causing more damage.
We apply sealer by hand from 5 gallon containers. The sealant is spread using a squeegee for a more smooth surface compared to brushing. Our preferred sealant is Black Jack Drive Maxx, which is a rubberized blacktop filler and sealer designed for asphalt pavement. It renews the look of worn driveways and has sand particulates to fill in small cracks. Other products are available; we use no coal tar based sealants.
Your driveway will be dry and ready for use in 2-4 days depending on weather and asphalt surface conditions.
Curing is a process where the sealant hardens over time through chemical reactions. This process can take up to several weeks.
Tire tracks on newly sealed asphalt are a common occurrence and typically not cause for concern. They are caused when compounds in tires are transferred to a new surface. These marks will fade as the sealant cures. If tire marks persist, they can be washed away.
Friction caused by turning in a stationary position will cause "power steering scuffs." Try to avoid sharp and stationary turning during the first month after sealing. These marks will fade as the sealer cures.
We service the Village of Granville, Granville Township, and surrounding areas.
